Project Overview:

SGD Homes, a real estate developer, approached Grantuity for assistance in securing funding for their Golden Sand Condominium project, an ambitious residential development. The goal was to fund the planning and construction of high-end residential units, aligning with sustainable and affordable housing practices.

Our Contribution:

• Grant Identification: We identified grants through the CMHC (Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation) Seed Funding program as well as potential future funding opportunities through the Affordable Housing Fund.
• Proposal Development & Submission: We developed a thorough grant application that emphasized the project’s commitment to sustainable building practices and its potential impact on the housing market.
• Feasibility & Financial Planning: Provided detailed financial structuring and feasibility analysis to demonstrate the viability of the project for grant providers.

Outcome:

Grantuity secured $500K in initial funding through the CMHC Seed Funding program, enabling SGD Homes to move forward with planning and early-stage development of Golden Sand Condominiums.
